FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves analyzing visual system condition parameters, determining their scaling and numerical values. The following parameters are analyzed: depth of the anterior chamber; a opening degree of the anterior chamber angle; anterior chamber angle profile; anterior chamber angle shape (apex); anterior chamber angle pigmentation degree; Forbs test; anatomical reconstructive effect after laser iridectomy; Baker factor; glaucoma available in paired eye; dystrophic iris changes; real intraocular pressure value. Diagnostic coefficients are calculated. Comparing the received coefficient values, differential diagnosis of early closed angle glaucoma stages is set as normal condition of visual system, functional angle block, initial closed angle glaucoma stage with intermitting clinical course, initial closed angle glaucoma stage with primarily chronic clinical course.
EFFECT: high accuracy of differential diagnostics; enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
