FIELD: machine engineering, possibly constructions of fittings of grinding and polishing machine tool for mechanically working hard-to-grind metals and alloys.
SUBSTANCE: disc chuck supporting grinding wheel is mounted in journal of spindle. Apparatus includes mechanism for pulse loading of grinding wheel in lengthwise direction; said mechanism is in the form of hydraulic pulse generator. At one end of grinding wheel wave-guide to which fork is secured is arranged. In sleeve mounted on journal of spindle ring with annular groove for placing fork is mounted. At other end of grinding wheel disc fastened on end of spindle and coil compression springs are arranged. Journal of spindle is joined with disc chuck and with sleeve along splined surface. Hydraulic pulse generator is mounted with possibility of acting upon wave-guide and providing axial oscillations of disc chuck with grinding wheel. Such structure imparts to grinding wheel low-frequency axial oscillations regardless of its revolution number.
EFFECT: improved efficiency, enhanced quality of grinding and polishing, intensified working process, enlarged manufacturing possibilities.
