FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining threshold value in reducing systolic speed in orbital artery on injured side. Orbit computer tomography examination is carried out for determining topometric bone orbit parameters with narrow and elongated or broad and short orbit specification being added. Doppler flowmetric parameters are correlated to topometric data to predict vision function disorders. Narrow and elongated orbit specification being combined with reduced systolic speed in orbital artery more than twice as low on pathologic neoplasm side when compared to the other eye, prognosis is considered to be unfavorable. broad and short orbit specification being combined with reduced systolic speed in orbital artery less than twice as low on pathologic neoplasm side when compared to the other eye, prognosis is considered to be favorable.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in determining treatment tactics at early disease stage.
