FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing retroperitoneal space. The kidney is separated and mobilized. Muscular flap is cut out from lumbar muscle. Subcapsular bridges are built on posterior and anterior kidney surfaces. Flap is brought under them and fixed with sutures to the bridges and renal capsule. When bringing the flap under the bridges, instrument is used. The instrument has handle, neck part and working part manufactured as rectangular platform having a window. The working part deflects from the neck part at an angle of 30° relative to longitudinal instrument part. The instrument working part is placed in turn under the built bridges and lift them. The instrument is set in a way that the window partially projects beyond the bridge. Flap end is placed on catgut holder. Holder thread ends are conducted from top to dawn into the instrument window and the muscle flap is pulled beneath the working part of the instrument. Catgut holder thread ends are hold with hand near the instrument handle. The instrument and flap are brought through under the bridge arranged first on posterior kidney surface and then on its frontal surface. Flap end is additionally fastened with catgut holder thread ends to the renal capsule.
EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications.
