FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering; it can be used in hydroconversion (for example, hydrocracking of heavy raw materials) and hydrotreatment (for example, hydrodemetallization, hydrodeazotization and/or hydrodesulfurization of residue or gas oil). The object of the invention is a device and a method for hydroconversion or hydrotreatment of hydrocarbon raw materials using, in particular, at least one spiral heat exchanger (S-1), while the mentioned spiral heat exchanger is a single-pass heat exchanger formed by a vertical chamber, in which one or several bundles of pipes are wound spirally around a central core in the form of several layers arranged one above the other, and it is made with the possibility of: heating and directly guiding a mixture of hydrocarbon raw materials-hydrogen flow into reaction section of hydrotreatment or hydroconversion (R-1); and cooling a reaction effluent of reaction section of hydrotreatment or hydroconversion (R-1). The object of the present invention is also the use of spiral heat exchanger (S-1) as part of a method for hydrotreatment or hydroconversion of hydrocarbon raw materials.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the device and the method for hydrotreatment or hydroconversion.
