FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vertical belt conveyors for use in crushing and sorting plants and concentrating mills. Proposed conveyor has loading and unloading devices, two loops of flexible rubberized cloth belts endlessly closed on drive and tension drums and provided in lower part of conveyor, namely in loading zone, flattened sections, grooved and plain roller supports, pressure rollers arranged lengthwise the conveyor. Belt of first loop is provided with projections on sides. Belt of second loop is provided with cross projections attached to belt whose outer edges are described to arc of circumference and are arranged for engagement with ascending run of belt of first loop, and pressure rollers are arranged from inner sides of projections and are installed for engaged with said belt and pressing it to belt of second loop. Straight roller supports are arranged between ascending and descending runs of second loop. Cross projections on descending run of second loop are arranged at minimum clearance relative to vertical wall, following form of cross projections. Flat descending run of belt of first loop is arranged with minimum clearance from outer side relative to other vertical wall, and form inner side it is arranged with possibility of engagement of projections of belt with vertically orientated guides of semiround form.
EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability and increased service life of conveyor.
