FIELD: construction, particularly to construct culvert structures for rail and motor roads in permafrost zones and territories characterized by intensive drift-snow transport.
SUBSTANCE: culvert structure comprises road embankment formed on natural ground surface, main culvert pipe having culvert pipe body and head. Culvert pipe body includes one or several pipes located one near another or spaced apart one from another. Head is made as transversal pipe adjoining one or several main culvert pipes and provided with inlet orifices made in head side and with bypass orifices aligned with main pipe ends. The inlet orifices are offset from ends of main pipes in longitudinal main pipe direction. Filtering mass is placed in the pipe body so that the filtering mass adjoins transversal pipe from outer side thereof. The filtering mass includes filtering material.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability.
