FIELD: construction, particularly to construct culvert structures for rail and motor roads in permafrost zones and territories characterized by intensive drift-snow transport.
SUBSTANCE: overpass comprises road embankment formed on natural ground surface, one or several main culvert pipes located one near another or spaced apart one from another. Inlet and outlet heads of each culvert pipe is made as transversal pipe adjoining one or several main culvert pipes and fixedly connected thereto. Head side is provided with inlet orifices offset from ends of main pipes in longitudinal main pipe direction and with bypass orifices aligned with main pipe ends.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability.
