MAGNETIC SENSOR AND METHOD FOR COMPENSATION DEPENDING FROM THE TEMPERATURE CHARACTERISTIC OF A MAGNETIC SENSOR Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01R33/09

Abstract RU 2303791 C2

FIELD: the proposed invention refers to a magnetic sensor using magneto-resistive element.

SUBSTANCE: the aim of the invention is creation of a magnetic sensor which is fulfilled with possibility of measuring with the aid of a cheap and an accurate manner depending from the temperature of the characteristic during a short period of time and creation of a mode of exact compensation depending from the temperature of the characteristic of the magnetic sensor. The proposed magnetic sensor has magnitude of magneto-resistive elements formed on the upper surface of the layer put on the substrate and magnitude of heat-generating elements designed for generating heat at electrical excitation. At that the mentioned magnitude of heat-generating elements is located and configured so, that when each of the mentioned heat-generating elements generates quantity of heat approximately equal to the quantity of the heat generated by any of the remaining heat-generating elements for receiving data touching temperature characteristic of the magnetic sensor, the temperature of the mentioned magnitude of magneto-resistive elements become approximately equal to each other and the temperature of the upper surface of the mentioned layer on which the mentioned magnitude of the magneto-resistive elements is formed and configured so that each of the mentioned magnitude of heat-generating element does not generate heat when the magnetic sensor is used for measuring of the exterior field in the regime of normal work becomes non-uniform, the temperature of the mentioned magnitude of the magneto-resistive elements become equal to the temperature of the magnetic sensor.

EFFECT: the described arrangement realizes the corresponding mode of compensation depending from the temperature of the characteristic of the magnetic sensor.
