FIELD: roentgen engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed X-ray tube designed for use in X-ray apparatuses as small-size radiation source, for instance to excite characteristic radiation of material atoms to conduct X-ray structural analysis has sealed body accommodating coaxially disposed anode with target, cathode in the form of circular filament, focusing and reflecting electrodes. Structural components of tube are characterized in minimized level of dissipated radiation and in impossibility of cathode material transfer to target surface.
EFFECT: reduced focal length and power requirement of tube at small size and sufficient radiation intensity.
