FIELD: non-destructive control, possible use in composition of internal pipe flaw detectors.
SUBSTANCE: device contains magnetic conductor yoke, a group of constant magnets and a corresponding number of polar ends, consisting of base, moving plates and ejecting springs. Springs are made in form of sections of cable, held by their ends on the base of polar tip. Each cable section is pinned by apertures onto flat plates, which are inserted by flat parts into grooves, made in body of base of each polar tip. Grooves are oriented along the movement direction of flaw detector. Plates are capable of movement in grooves.
EFFECT: unchanged friction force, constant character of movement of flaw detector inside the pipeline, stable magnetization of pipe wall, prevented stops of flaw detector during passage of thin-wall structural elements of gas pipeline, shorter time of diagnostics.
