FIELD: woodworking.
SUBSTANCE: wood drying is conducted by multiple alternating of the cycles of blowing by a heat-transfer agent with removal of liberated vapors, heating of wood to an average temperature of 80÷100 C, fast vacuum treatment with the aid of a receiver, quick-acting valves and pipe0lines with heating of wood in a drying chamber isolated from the atmosphere, and the wood is seasoned in it to a pressure equal to the equilibrium vapor pressure at the given temperature. Each wood heating cycle after a fast vacuum treatment is accomplished with a simultaneous injection of water at a temperature of 90÷100 C or steam to a pressure equal to the equilibrium pressure of steam in the free space of the drying chamber at the given temperature. At the final stage of drying conditioning, equalization of the final moisture content in the depth and length of the wood are performed by injection of water at a temperature of 90÷100 C or steam, and after the stages of drying and conditioning of the wood its impregnation is performed either by antiseptic or antipyren dyes by their injection and alternating of the vacuum-atmospheric pressure cycles in the drying chamber.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of wood during a short period of fine.
