FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing extremity on small hammocks. Proximal fractured bone fragment is fixed on appropriate splint cradle. Longitudinal marks are drawn according to preliminarily determined rotation displacement magnitude and direction near the rupture zone. Bracket having prepatellar unit. Splitter traction is carried out in opposite directions in combination with rotation displacement of distal fractured bone fragment in required direction using single load member under overlap control on the moment the mentioned bone fragment marks are aligned. After complete superposition being proved to take place according to X-ray pictures, distraction tension force caused by said load member is turned for compressive one. The device has frame, inclined femoral cradle carcass, horizontal crus cradle carcass, upright, cantilever, units, load, ropes, popliteal member and plate lattice structure footrest. The frame is manufactured from tubes or rods with rigidly fixed carcasses fixed thereon and vertical U-shaped upright having cantilever with prepatellar unit available in the middle of its crossbar. The popliteal member is fixable on knee joint with rope end being fastenable thereon. The footrest member is attached to foot with rope being fixable thereon. The right and left units are available on lateral member of footrest are arranged on straight line joining upper points of circles of prepatellar and post-foot units.
EFFECT: reduced immobilization time; improved functional features of the device; high accuracy in determining displacement and reposition magnitudes.
