FIELD: manufacture of rolled products, such as wide hot-rolled strips to be further processed into cold-rolled products for enameling.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing hot rolling of steel strip containing, wt%: carbon 0.02-0.05; aluminum less than 0.05 and 0.05-0.06: nickel and boron 0.001-0.003, with temperature at final hot rolling stage being 860-890 C; winding hot strip into roll at temperature ranging between 720 C and 750 C.
EFFECT: increased yield in the process of producing enameled articles owing to elimination of "fish scale" defect by controlling temperature mode at the stage of producing semi-finished hot-rolled stock.
