BELT TYPE FLUIDIZED BED DRIER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F26B17/04 

FIELD: processes and equipment for drying dispersed materials, possibly in microbiological, chemical, food making industry branches.

SUBSTANCE: belt type fluidized bed drier includes wet material loading apparatus having auger feeder; drying chamber; burner with mixing chamber and system for purifying waste heat transfer agent. Housing of drier is in the form of rectangular parallelepiped inside which two latticed belts are arranged one over another. Upper belt is lubricated with oil such as castor oil and it moves more rapidly or more slowly than lower belt. Housing has two chambers divided by solid partition. In one chamber material is dried and in other chamber material is cooled. Fluidizing heat transfer agent is fed from burner having mixing chamber through branch pipes mounted in bottom of housing under belt and supporting grids. Wet material is fed from hopper arranged in left part of housing onto belt of conveyer. Dried product is discharged through branch pipe arranged in other end of belt. Waste heat transfer agent is withdrawn through branch pipes arranged in lid of housing to dust removing system.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of drier.
