FIELD: heating; drying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to disperse materials drying technologies and may be used in microbiological, food, chemical and other industries. The boiling bed dryer with the use of inert carriers consists of a damp material loading hopper with a feeder and boiling bed drying chamber represented with a cylindrical housing with a tapered part and supporting lattice being installed in the narrowest cross section of the tapered part. The feeder is situated axisymmetrically to the chamber housing. In addition, the pseudo-liquid coolant is supplied from the furnace under the supporting lattice, and dry material is unloaded in the upper part of the boiling bed through the nozzles connected with the dried material tanks via flexible lines. The nozzles are fixed along the tapered part moving line at a certain pace, which depends from a height of the processed material boiling bed. At the same time, the dust being generated during drying process is entrapped in dust cleaning system, while the spent coolant is pumped by the exhaust fan. The latter is provided with re-circulation valve at the fan outlet. The above valve directs spent and clean coolant to the stirring chamber through the pipeline. The centrifugal disc sprayer is used as a damp material feeder with hollow housing and lid. The shaft for feeder housing rotation by means of the drive is located inside the feeder housing and axisymmetrically to it. There is a bushing for the damp material supply being mounted on the bearing support and situated in the upper part of the housing and axisymmentrially to the lid. The bearing supports of the shaft are fixed in the upper part of the bushing by means of, at least, three spokes. There are guiding extrusion nozzles for paste-like materials supply in the lower part of the bushing. Besides, at least three removable radial and cylindrical nozzle pipes are available in the housing and fixed by means of flanges. Spiral rods are freely inserted in the inner cavity of the pipes so that can rotate around their axes due to the bearing supports. The supports are installed at both ends of spiral rods and fixed in the inner cavity of the pipes. At the same time, the sprayer is rotated by the drive shaft.
EFFECT: increased drying effectiveness.
