FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves removing larynx and carrying out myotomy. Tracheostoma is formed after having removed the larynx, and vocal prosthesis is set. Stent is introduced through gullet defect and esophagus as far as the vocal prosthesis position, lower constrictor is cut along the anterior wall to submucous layer from gullet defect edge to the vocal prosthesis, and the gullet is sutured. Surgeon finger is optionally introduced into the gullet defect as stent.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; achieved spontaneous phonation; prevented pharyngeal fistula formation.
