FIELD: rubber industry.
SUBSTANCE: at first stage, residue of processing rubber-containing waste is heated to temperature of 700-780C and sulfur is removed from it during 3-5 minute; this residue contains the following components, mass-%: carbon black, 82-83; zinc oxide, 9-11; sulfur, 2-3 and liquid hydrocarbons soluble in toluene, 5-5.5. At second stage, powder obtained at the first stage is coated with pyrocarbon in the amount of 3.0-4.3 mass-% at temperature of 850-950C for 5-7 minutes, thus decomposing 5-5.5 mass-% of hydrocarbons contained in residue of processing rubber-containing waste. At third stage, powder obtained at second stage is heated to temperature of 1300-1600C and is held at this temperature for 5-10 minutes. Rate of heating is 100C/min. Then, powder is cooled down. Conductive carbon black free from undecomposed hydrocarbons and moisture contains the following components, mass-%: zinc oxide, 9-11; sulfur, no more than 0.22; pyrocarbon, 3.0-4.3; the remainder being carbon black. Volume resistivity of carbon black is 10-2 ohm·m; specific outer surface is 80 m2/g; absorption of dibutyl phthalate is 100 cm3/100 g; pH is 9.2; optical density of toluene extract is 99.9% and bulk density is 385 kg/m3.
EFFECT: reduced power requirements; increased productivity.
