FIELD: mechanics; devices built around materials possessing shape memory effect for radio electronics, mechanical engineering, micromechanics, and medicine.

SUBSTANCE: proposed actuator has flexible component of primarily two-dimensional configuration and component possessing shape memory effect reliably fixed together on flat ends; component possessing shape memory effect has single-ended tension or compression strain. Actuator system is made in the form of plurality of parallel-connected actuators. Proposed actuator manufacturing process includes following operations: production of flexible component, production of component possessing shape memory effect, and mechanical fixation of mentioned components together through their flat ends. Component possessing shape memory effect is trained for single-ended shape memory effect prior to mechanical fixation of components through their flat ends until single-ended tension or compression strain is attained; mechanical fixation of components is conducted at external parameters and external field meeting martensitic state of component possessing shape memory effect.

EFFECT: enhanced operating efficiency, manufacturability, facilitated manufacture and automation of production process.
