SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device engineering, mechanics and technique of the actuators based on functional materials changing shape and dimensions under action of various physical fields. The actuator based on the functional material contains active element out of the functional material mechanically linked with the resilient element, electrodes system connected with active element, power source connected to electrodes system to control the actuator. The amorphous metal or alloy is selected as functional material.

EFFECT: increasing of the actuator efficiency, in particular increasing of its response speed and output mechanical power, as well as increasing of the reliability and produceability.
