FIELD: wireless communications; matching received carrier signal frequency in mobile wireless communications.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method and device for recovering carrier frequency make use of several stages of carrier frequency recovery. Receiver has several frequency generating sources for producing carrier signals used for step-down conversion of signal received. Reference-frequency analog signal characterized in wide frequency band and low frequency resolution is used together with reference-frequency digital signal having narrow frequency band and high frequency resolution. These several carrier signals are multiplied by first signal to afford multistage step-down conversion so as to obtain base band signal. Frequency follow-up module functions to measure residual frequency error in signal base band. Measured residual error is then used to correct frequencies of carrier signals generated by several frequency generation sources by means of processor.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of carrier recovery in subscriber equipment.
