UHF-METHOD OF DETERMINATION OF AVAILABILITY OF THE MOIST SUSPENSION IN THE LIQUID HYDROCARBONS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC G01N22/04 G01R27/26

Abstract RU 2306552 C1

FIELD: petrochemical industry; methods of determination of the availability of the moist suspension in the liquid hydrocarbons.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to methods of determination of availability of the moisture in the liquid hydrocarbons and may be used in the petrochemical industry, the laboratory practice to control the quality of the fuel-and-lubricant materials, and also for the express- control of the quality of the aviation kerosene before its direct fueling the tanks of the flying vehicles. The technical result of the invention is extension of the functionalities of the method to determine availability of the moist suspension in the fuel-and-lubricant materials due to determination of the amount of the moist suspension in the liquid hydrocarbons. The UHF-method of determination of the availability of the moist suspension in the liquid hydrocarbons consists that in the cylindrical volumetric resonator put the dish with the liquid hydrocarbon (for example, with the aviation kerosene). The dish is made in the form of the cylinder or the disk and it is put lengthways or perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical volumetric resonator, additionally in the liquid hydrocarbon add the de-icing dope - ethylene glycol monoethyl ether (liquid "И"). The volumetric percentage of the liquid "И" should be such, that the addition of the dissolved moisture contained the de-icing dope should be commensurable with the natural dissolved moisture, which is contained in the liquid hydrocarbon. Then excite the electromagnetic oscillation of Н011 type, meter the loaded Q of the Н011 type oscillation of the cylindrical volumetric resonator at the t1 temperature, after no less than 20 minutes again meter the loaded Q. Analyzing the variation of the loaded Q judge about the availability of the moist suspension.

EFFECT: the invention ensures extension of the functionalities of the method to determine availability of the moist suspension in the liquid hydrocarbons.
