FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method is based on placement of the test hydrocarbon into ultrahigh-frequency electromagnetic field and measurement of losses at fixed temperature t1, additionally, after measurements at t1 the test hydrocarbon is heated in a closed sample, then, losses of ultrahigh-frequency electromagnetic field are measured in it at the second fixed temperature t2. Besides, t1<t2. Fixed temperature t1 is chosen not higher than 0°C, i.e. t1≤0°C, and temperature difference t2-t1 shall not be less than 50°C, i.e. t2-t1≥50°C, after that, as per the change of losses of ultrahigh-frequency electromagnetic field there determined is availability of suspended emulsive moisture that is changed over to a dissolved state.
EFFECT: increasing sensitivity and reducing labour input for determination of suspended moisture in liquid hydrocarbon.
