FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for early diagnosis and differential diagnosis of precancerous diseases of the oral mucosa (OM) and squamous cell carcinoma OM (SCC OM). For this, a direct fluorescent immunocytochemical (FICC) study of the patient's biomaterial is carried out, which is obtained by self-rinsing by the patient for 1 minute from the oral cavity with a 5% glucose solution after rinsing the oral cavity with distilled water. The degree of excess of the fluorescence intensity of the cell nucleus over the fluorescence intensity of the cytoplasm and the expression of proliferation markers Κi67, P16 and P53 is determined. If two or three of these markers are detected simultaneously in the resulting preparation, the values of the expression level of which are in the range Ki67 ≥ 10%, Р16 ≥ 5, Р53 ≥ 10%, and when the ratio of the nuclear fluorescence intensity to the cytoplasm fluorescence intensity is 3 or more, squamous cell carcinoma is suggested OM. If one or two proliferation markers are simultaneously detected in the preparation, the values of the expression level of which are in the range of Ki67 5-10%, P16 1-5%, P53 1-10%, and if the ratio of the intensity of nuclear fluorescence to the intensity of cytoplasm fluorescence is less than 3, it is assumed precancerous disease OM.
EFFECT: method allows differentiating precancerous diseases and cancer of the oral mucosa, identifying the initial signs of malignancy at an early stage of the disease during the primary screening study, without invasive traumatic sampling of biomaterial from the patient, with obtaining results in a fairly short time, with the possibility of remote assessment of the results.
