FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, X-ray diagnostics using single-photon emission computer tomography (SPECT). Determined rehabilitation potential (RP) in a patient with impaired consciousness level, for this purpose is carried out evaluating of the cerebral blood flow state - cerebral perfusion: at first provided intravenously introducing 99mTc-hexamethyl propylene aminoxym (99mTc-HMPAO) in a dose of 4.5-5 MBk per kg of patient's body weight, determined by SPECT method cortical perfusion in front, middle and rear sections of frontal lobes, parietal, occipital and temporal lobes of both cerebral hemispheres and in each of the hemispheres of cerebellum. Then OKP is calculated for each of the said zones of the brain using as reference zone of cerebelli hemisphere with the same side as the analyzed area of the brain, and caried out visual, audial, sensory and cognitive load and/or pharmacological load, as which intravenous introducing any drug influencing on the change of cerebral blood flow and/or cerebral activity. Against the background of the ongoing load intravenously introduced a dose is of said RFP in an amount of 9-10 MBk/kg of patient's body and is again provided SPECT determining a cortical perfusion. Again calculated OKP for each of the analyzed brain areas the obtained value of regional perfusions are compared in each of these zones at rest and with underlying load. If observing SCD of brain areas by more than 10 %, is made conclusion about the presence of functional reserves of this area and high RP, with no increase of OKP zone or increase it by less than 10 %, is made a conclusion about the reduced RP.
EFFECT: method provides specifying the integrity of different zones of the brain cortex, accurate diagnosis verification for correct selection of therapeutic and rehabilitation treatings.
