FIELD: medical instruments.

SUBSTANCE: hemostatic forceps can be used in surgery for small access operations - on gall bladder and anhepatic bile ducts, for example, for cross-clamping of hepatoduodenal ligament. Hemostatic forceps have branches curved in frontal plane, jaws and closing mechanism providing specific degree of cross clamping. Jaws, made for incomplete closing, are disposed at distal end of branches. Branches are curved at angle of 150°. Jaws are made of elastic material and they are disposed at the same plane with to have curve of branches of 90°. Jaws are mutually connected with branches by means of axes; they are connected together by axis in point of curve, provided with longitudinal grooves and are oriented in the direction being opposite to curve of branches. Bleeding from cystic artery can be temporarily stopped by means of safe cross-clamping of hepatoduodenal ligament to keep ability of free manipulation of other instruments at area of hepatoduodenal ligament without making changes in volume of operation area and sizes of operation wound (giving wider access) either transfer to midline laparotomy. Cystic artery can be successfully found and cross-clamped when ligature slides of in infiltrate at destructive forms of cholecystitis or in case when the artery is crossed by mistake.
