SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to abdominal surgery. A device for temporary hemostasis is installed by passing the cord around the hepatoduodenal ligament twice through the foramen of Winslow in the avascular zone of the lesser omentum. Then the free ends are passed through the base of the device and brought out through an additional aperture in the left mesogastrium. Periodically tighten the silicone cord and relax it, while the base of the device is immersed in the cavity for 2/3 of its length and held in this position with a surgical clamp. The device for temporary hemostasis during laparoscopic liver resections includes a base and a cord. The base is made in the form of a hollow silicone tube for surgical drainage TCM 8/12, 40 cm long. The cord is made of a silicone medical tube TCM 2/4, 100 cm long. The ratio of the inner diameter of the pipe to the outer diameter of the cord is 2:1. The method allows to increase the safety of the operation, to reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss, the total time of the operation.

EFFECT: use of the device increases the reliability of hemostasis, allows you to quickly respond to the current situation during the operation.
