FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: frequency meter can be used for high speed real-time-scale detection of presence of microwave range radiation as well as for qualitative and quantitative estimation of radiation frequency. Field indicator/ radiation frequency meter has cut of coaxial cable, mated at output and at input, two Shottki diodes and signal frequency indicator/pointer. Outputs of Shottki diodes, which have their poles connected with output and input of cable section, are connected with inputs of dc amplifiers. Outputs of amplifiers are loaded by light-emitting diodes. Input of signal frequency indicator/pointer is connected with output of voltage difference digital meter. Outputs of meter are connected with outputs of two analog-to-digital voltage converters which are connected together through synchronization channel. Their inputs are connected with outputs of detectors at Shottki diodes. High frequency radio signal can be detected as from continuous and from pulse signals. Conditions are provided for quick qualitative and quantitative estimation of relative level of signal as well as simultaneous measurement of carrier frequency of signal.
EFFECT: improved efficiency.
