FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the innovation deals with obtaining 4-7 MRT-pictures in the modes T1 at contrasting and T2 to evaluate the value of perifocal edema, tumor and its cystoid component according to neutralized value of the area of the above-mentioned neoplasms. In case if the value of the area of perifocal edema is more against the value of tumor area by 20%, not less, and tumor itself has a cystoid component the area of which corresponds to about 40-70% one should diagnose malignant glioma of astrocytic type. If area of edema is less against tumor area by 10%, not less at availability of a cystoid component of any area in tumor's projection one should diagnose malignant glioma of oligodendroglial type. The innovation enables to establish the type of glioma at the stage of preliminary MRT-survey.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of diagnostics.
