SUBSTANCE: method involves connecting frieze and fronton blocks; forming orifices over frieze blocks and in ridge of basic building roof; arranging protective awnings; mounting posts under awning protection; installing canvas on the posts, which are used as additional floor skeleton members; connecting fixed and movable cathead system to posts under canvas, wherein telphers are suspended to movable beams and canvas is located over said system and connected to top of scaffold arranged along building perimeter; demolishing basic building roof under canvas protection; erecting additional story walls and ceiling panel; disassembling canvas and cathead system.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of building and additional story protection against atmospheric action.
