FIELD: applicable on armored vehicles for protection of the sight lens or protective glass from bullets, fragments and other foreign objects.

SUBSTANCE: the device is made in the form of a cover consisting of two flaps, and a sector with a hand drive rope. The flaps are hinge-joined to each other and to a link installed on the sight armour protection for its rocking. The sector is rigidly coupled to the link spring-loaded relative to the armour protection by a torsion bar installed in the axis of rotation of the link. A catch is made on the sector, it is installed for engagement with the hand drive rope.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of device operation and improved its operating characteristics.
