SUBSTANCE: method of protecting the objectives of the optoelectronic sight module, which includes the placement and rotation of the optoelectronic sight unit on the horizontal axis of the rotary support device. The lens is protected by rotating the optoelectronic sight block in the direction that provides the least chance of foreign objects entering the entrance pupils of the objectives. On the surface of the optoelectronic unit, there are armoured plates covering the whole surface of it, except for the entrance pupils of the lenses. Armour plates have a thickening, located when the optoelectronic unit is rotated from the side of the most probable direction of foreign objects entering the entrance pupils of the lenses.
EFFECT: increasing the protection of the optoelectronic unit from damage by bullets, debris and other objects.
