FIELD: infra-red contract targets, applicable for training of personnel in fore from weapon with an infra-red sight.

SUBSTANCE: the infra-red contrast target is produced by wetting of the element on the right side of the target with water or volatile, or viscous liquids, or with solutions of viscous liquids in water or in volatile liquids. The mentioned element is made of a hydrophilic material with a developed specific surface possessing the properties of wettability of any of the mentioned liquids used for its wetting, and unsolubility in it. The target contains an element of the mentioned material in the form of a real target or of some other form fastened on a backing. The backing or its face surface is made of a hydrophobic material that is not wetted with the liquid used for wetting of the element, and is not dissolved in it.

EFFECT: improved technical-and-economic indices and operating characteristics of the target.
