FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to introduce photosensitizing gel (PS gel) that contains 0.1% PS of chlorine group into chalazion. About 30-40 min later one should irradiate the surface of chalazion with laser radiation. Wave length of laser radiation corresponds to maximal PS absorption of light radiation, at overlapping the adjacent fields for 5% the area, at energy density of about 80-100 J/sq. cm. The innovation enables to prevent the relapses of chalazion.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
