FIELD: hygienic articles, in particular, women's accessories for hygiene or medicinal purposes.

SUBSTANCE: primary package is designed for packing of tampon having cylindrical absorbing central part. Pull-out cord provided at one end of package is closed with pack made from packaging material, said pack being configured to conform to said tampon. Package is opened with the use of tear strip dividing pack of packaging material in circumferential direction into two tubes of packaging material. Tear strip has width making at least 25% the length of cylindrical absorbing central part of tampon. Package is provided with layer imparting roughness to at least one zone which closes end opposed to end where pull-out cord is positioned.

EFFECT: improved characteristics of primary package providing protection of tampon equally before and after removal of package.
