FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out goniosynechiolysis after having removed eye lens, under optical apparatus control like rigid microendoscope with attachment. The attachment is hollow tube having its internal diameter greater than external diameter of the optical microendoscope tube by 0.1-0.11 mm. The attachment has one end dilated as funnel and the other working one smoothly transforms into spatula at the position 4.5 mm far in length from the beginning. The tube and spatula are aligned along the same straight line making a single whole equal to or less than optical microendoscope tube but not longer than 5 mm. The attachment is fitted over the optical microendoscope tube allowing longitudinal displacements so that leaving optical tube does not take place, on being introduced into the anterior chamber and entering angle block zone. The advance movement is stopped short of iridocorneal coalescence along optical endoscope axis at distance allowing angle structures to be within clear visibility scope. The attachment is moved forward to bring distal spatula end in engagement with the angle structures and goniosynechiolysis is started. The spatula assumes the outmost low working position. When approaching the trabecule, projecting spatula part is made shorter, introducing the attachment 1-1.5 mm deep and goniosynechiolysis is continued in trabecule zone.
EFFECT: improved direct visual control options; enabled combined operation with endoscope and attachment unit in visibility zone; reduced risk of traumatic complications.
