FIELD: production of metallurgical fluxes and refractories in fluidized bed; production and off-furnace treatment of cast iron and steel, production and use of refractory masses and articles made from them.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preheating, sintering the raw material for forming refractory and cooling in preheating, sintering and cooling zones of multi-zone fluidized-bed furnace. In first preheating zone, raw material is preheated to temperature of 350-550°C for 0.5-25.0 minutes at time lag of 25.0-49.5 minutes. In second preheating zone, raw material is preheated to temperature of 920-940°C for 0.5-28.0 minutes at time lag of 28.0-55.5 minutes. In sintering zone, raw material is preheated to temperature of 1150-1500°C and sintered for forming the refractory for 0.5-72.0 minutes at time lag of 72.0-143.5 minutes. In cooling zone, refractory is cooled down to temperature of 250-400°C for 0.5-56.5 minutes at time lag of 56.5-112.5 minutes. Sintering boron-iron-chromium-manganese-titanium-zirconium-containing additives (or their mixtures) are introduced into the first and/or second preheating zones and/or into cooling zone.

EFFECT: improved quality of refractory.
