FIELD: organic chemistry, organic synthesis, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of perhydro-5-hydroxy-1,3,5-dithiazine, β-ethyldihydro-1,3,5-dithiazine-5-ethanol and 4-[4H-1,3,5-dithiazine-5(6H)-yl]-1-butanol. Method involves interaction of formalin aqueous solution saturated with hydrogen sulfide with aqueous solution of hydroxylamine hydrochloride (2-butanolamine or 4-butanolamine) in the mole ratio aminoalcohol : formaldehyde : hydrogen sulfide = 1:3:2 at room temperature and stirring for 3 h. The yields of end compounds are 47, 58 and 51% for perhydro-5-hydroxy-4H-1,3,5-dithiazine, β-ethyldihydro-4H-1,3,5-dithiazine-5-ethanol and 4-[4H-1,3,5-dithiazine-5(6H)-yl]-1-butanol (1b), respectively. Method provides synthesis of above indicated compounds with high regioselectivity being their synthesis is not described in literature. Synthesized compounds can be used as selective sorbents and extractants of precious metals, special reagents for inhibition of vital activity of microorganisms in different media.
