FIELD: chemistry, pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of organic synthesis. Obtained by claimed method 5-acetylsalicioyl-1,3,5-dithiazinan of formula I can find application as selective sorbent of noble and precious metals and biologically active compound. Essence of method lies in interaction of alcohol solution of acetylsalicylic acid amide with saturated with hydrogen sulfate water solution of formalin with molar ratio of amide: formaldehyde: hydrogen sulfate 1:3:2, temperature 40°C and mixing during 8 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining 5-acetylsalicioyl-1,3,5-dithiozinan with output 80%.
