FIELD: organic chemistry, organic synthesis, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for synthesis of N-phenyl-1,3,5-dithiazine-5-amine of the general formula (1): Method involves interaction of formaldehyde aqueous solution saturated with hydrogen sulfide with phenylhydrazine hydrochloride alcoholic solution taken in the mole ratio phenylhydrazine : formaldehyde : hydrogen sulfide = 1:3:2, respectively, at temperature 80-81°C and at stirring for 3 h. Substances synthesized by the proposed method can be used as selective sorbents and extractants of precious metals, special reagents for inhibition of vital activity of microorganisms in different media. The yield of the end substances is 25%.
EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
