FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention elates to a method for synthesis of 5-[ortho-(para)-hydroxyphenyl]-1,3,5-dithiazines. Method involves interaction of formalin an aqueous solution saturated with hydrogen sulfide with alcoholic solution of ortho-(para)-aminophenol at room temperature and stirring for 3 h. Synthesized substances can be used as potential reagents for inhibition of vital activity of bacteria in different media, sorbents of precious and rare metals. Also, proposed method allows utilizing toxic hydrogen sulfide (H2S).
EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
