FIELD: alcoholic industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing rectified ethyl alcohol used in preparing high-quality alcoholic drinks. For producing ethyl alcohol "Luks" from mash method involves using a device consisting of mash, fractionating (45-60 plates), rectifying (75-85 plates) columns and column for final purification (45-65 plates). For producing ethyl alcohol "Alfa" from crude ethyl alcohol method involves using the same device but without a mash column. Fractionating column works in the hydroselection regimen with feeding hydroselection water from upper plates. Pressure value over upper plates of column doesn't exceed 0.1 m of water column. Head and intermediate impurities are removed from fractionating column from a condenser as a single product. In purification of the fractionation intermediate product in rectifying column impurities are removed from condenser and from column and additional removal of intermediate impurities from one-three plates in the range from 25-th to 45-th plates is carried out. In treatment of rectified ethyl alcohol in column for final purification working in the fractionation regimen impurities are removed from condenser as a single product. Purified rectified ethyl alcohol is removed from bottom part of this column. If this column works in the rectification regimen then impurities are removed from condenser and from bottom part of column and purified rectified ethyl alcohol is removed from one of upper plates of the column. Using the invention allows enhancing quality of rectified ethyl alcohol "Luks".
