FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge includes case and striking element. Case is connected to striking element by means of link destructed during firing. Striking element includes plastic housing, hollow elastic tip and axial plastic stop. Plastic housing includes pyrotechnic retarder, detonator and explosive cartridge. Plastic housing has axial hole, front groove and driving band. Hollow elastic tip is connected to plastic housing by means of glue and has front rounded end face. Axial plastic stop is installed into end groove of plastic housing. Plastic housing is made in the form of sleeve. Elastic tip includes thin-wall cylindrical part and is put on plastic housing. Inner end surface of the tip is equipped with radial projections, and axial plastic stop is formed with thin-wall cover in the form of bottle. On neck of thin-wall cover there are end slots interacting with radial projections of the tip; at that, bottom of the cover is made in the form of stepped disc. Irritative powdered compound is arranged in free cavity of axial plastic stop and pressed to its bottom with wad sunken into neck behind end slots.
