FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy; chemical industry; methods of production of the nickel-ammonium sulfate hexahydrate.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of production of the nickel-ammonium sulfate hexahydrate and for extraction of nickel (II) from- the toxic waste- of its production. At first prepare the reaction water solution with рН from -0.5 up to 8.0 containing nickel (II), 3-15 mass % of ammonium and 8-45 mass % of the nickel-ammonium sulfate. In the capacity of the source of nickel (II) use the spent solution of the chemical nickelizing-. The waste solution in the capacity of the basic ingredients may contain-, for example, nickel (II), sodium hypophosphite, sodium phosphite, the acetic acid, sodium acetate or nickel (II), sodium hypophosphite, the sodium phosphite, the acetic acid, the ammonium sulfate. The waste solution of the chemical nickelizing may be concentrated by evaporation. Crystallization- of the target product from the reaction solution conduct at the temperature from -5 up to 40°С. The invention allows to reduce consumption of the material at production of the hexahydrate of the nickel-ammonium sulfate, to increase its outlet, to extract more than 99 % of the nickel (II) from the wastes of the nickel production.
EFFECT: the invention allows to reduce consumption of the material at production of the hexahydrate of the nickel-ammonium sulfate, to increase its outlet, to extract about hundred percent of the nickel (II) from the wastes of the nickel production.
