FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to silencers of gas flow noises used mainly at bleeding of compressed gas. Proposed noise silencer of gas flow contains diffuser housing with inlet and outlet holes and throttling grids installed successively in housing and provided with honeycomb cells, summary area of cells in each grid decreases towards side opposite to inlet hole. Each even throttling grid is provided with honeycomb cells filled with noise-absorbing elements arranged in staggered order along section of throttling grid.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of silencer by increasing reliability and decreasing usage of materials and equalizing gas velocity at outlet.
