FIELD: experimental medicine, experimental resuscitation, pathological physiology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with temporary stoppage of circulation in the main vessel. Moreover, one should apply ligature under the central end of the artery with a bound peripheral part to tighten it without ligation. The ends of the ligature should be captured with a surgical clamp, free ends of the ligature should be fixed after that the clamp at slight stretching of ligature of the central end of the artery should be placed beyond the limits of surgical field. After that one should make the incision of the squeezed artery wall, insert a cannula into its lumen and fix with a ligature. Then it is important to start modeling a terminal state due to acute blood loss followed by blood reinfusion and animal's resuscitation. This innovation enables to simplify the technique for temporary stoppage of circulation in the main arterial vessel at modeling terminal states due to acute blood loss due to rapid and uncomplicated manipulations and the absence of unfavorable aftereffects for the walls of the part of the vessel under squeezing.
