FIELD: the chemical industry; other industry; methods and devices for production of molybdenum trioxide.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of production of molybdenum trioxide and the device for its realization. The invention may be used at reprocessing of the industrial wastes in the form of the spent molybdenum containing catalysts. The method of production of the molybdenum trioxide provides for charging of the molybdenum-containing catalysts in the furnace, heating of the charge up to the sublimating temperature, sublimation of the molybdenum trioxide in two stages: the first stage is conducted at the temperature of 550-600°С within 1-2 hours, the second stage - at the temperature of 1000-1100°С within 2-4 hours, both include the air supply into the furnace and trapping of the sublimates. The trapping of the sublimates on the first stage conduct in the separate system of trapping of the impurities sublimates, in which keep the temperature of no less than 200°С. Air is fed into the furnace on the second stage. The device for production of the molybdenum trioxide contains the electric furnace (1) having two heating modes: up to 550-600°С and 1000-1100°С, the air-supply into the furnace system (2), the system of the sublimates trapping (3), which consists of the shutter (4), the cyclone (5), the bag hose (6) connected among themselves by the pipeline (9). The electric furnace is equipped with the additional system of trapping of the impurity sublimates, consisting of the shutter (7), the cyclone (8) with the heater connected by the pipeline (9). The system of trapping the impurities sublimates has common with the system of trapping of the sublimates outlet from the furnace and the inlet into the ventilation system. The invention allows to produce out of the spent molybdenum-containing catalysts of molybdenum trioxide free from the impurities of sulfur, nickel, cobalt.
EFFECT: the invention ensures production out of the spent molybdenum-containing catalysts of molybdenum trioxide free from the impurities of sulfur, nickel, cobalt.
