FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; preparation of manganese-containing raw materials for alloying of steel.
SUBSTANCE: proposed charge contains oxide manganese-containing material, alumina, solid fuel, dolomitized lime and calcined lime used as flux and metallic aluminum. The constituents are taken at the following ratio, mass-%: alumina, 8-10; metallic aluminum, 18-23; dolomitized lime, 15-20; calcined lime, 15-20; solid fuel, 5-10; the remainder being oxide manganese-containing material.
EFFECT: high reducing and desulfurizing ability.
