FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy and can be used during the manufacturing of manganous steel. Method includes feeding into steelmaking unit of metal stock, slag-forming, melting, discharge of metallic melt into steel teeming ladle, feeding of manganese ore and carbon-bearing material into steel teeming ladle after discharge of 1/10-1/8 total weight of metallic melt, feeding of reducer and slag-forming admixture. Feeding of manganese ore and carbon-bearing material is implemented fractional with consumption, equal to (8.0-9.0):(1.1-1.2) correspondingly. Each portion of manganese ore is introduced by consumption, amounting no more than 30% of its total consumption, and each portion of carbon-bearing material is introduced after finish of introduction of each portion of manganese ore.
EFFECT: improving of steel ensured by reduction in it harmful impurities, productivity gain.
