FIELD: ironmongery, particularly to close flexible locking-and-sealing devices using flexible members, for instance cable cuts, as closing members.
SUBSTANCE: locking method for locking-and-sealing device including body with inlet and outlet orifices for cable cut receiving, wherein the cable cut has driven end and free end, and at least one fixing member spring-loaded with pre-locking spring involves passing free cable cut end through locking unit of protected object; passing the cable cut end through inlet orifice, device interior and outlet orifice along with fixing member movement to create loop having minimal dimension; preliminarily fixing cable cut and applying force, namely impact force, to fixing member through pre-locking spring and intermediate member, for instance through separator, wherein the impact force is applied by striking thereof with pre-compressed blocking spring preliminarily fixed in initial position of device prepared for following locking, by releasing potential spring energy by pushing out blocking spring from spring holder body. Blocking spring force exceeds that of pre-locking spring. Blocking spring has axis aligned with pre-locking spring axis and inner diameter equal to that of pre-locking one.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
